Dallas Temple Kalachakra of The True Buddha School, located in the town of Farmersville, the northeast corner of Taxes Dallas, the eighth largest city in the United States. It is 35 minutes away from Richardson and stands as a magnificent and spectacular temple, which has become a new landmark. Dallas Temple Kalachakra covering more than 30 acres of land and building construction area of nearly 4 acres, and located in the “Carp Fish Cave”. It blends the beautiful scenery of nature and faces the blue waters of Lavon Lake. It is blessed with the strong spirit of the earth and the art of Buddhism which is the geomantic (Feng Shui) treasure land of the dreams of practitioners. It is also another place for the True Buddha School to propagate the Dharma in southern America. It is a non-profit organization . The purpose of the temple is to enable the public to purify their minds and spiritual tranquility and the wisdom of liberation from the study of Buddhism in the midst of their busy lives. Through the Dharma activities of the temple, we will promote harmony among people and create a peaceful and happy society. We also look forward to all the good faith and great virtues who want to improve the happiness of the body and mind, and want to relieve the suffering of life and death. We welcome you all to join us in this journey of life!

The construction of the temple was completed in 2009. The main building include Main shrine hall, Fortune Gods Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Homa and Water Offering Hall, unborn foetus spirits Garden, and the Dining Hall. It also has a library, an office, a meditation room etc. And on the slope of the hill directly behind the Main shrine hall, there is a tall and upright Usnisavijaya (Zunsheng) Pagoda. The vast courtyard is scattered with 18 bluestone samanera ( young monk) of Padmakumara (Lian Hua Tong Zi). They are carved into different shapes. Among them, there are those who greet the guests with gassho, those who hit the bell and play the drum, those who read the scriptures and writing, those who pound rice and draw water, and those who harvest rice and pull the roots and everyone is full of peace and pleasure. Another pair of eight-foot-four stone-carved Great Northern Lion Kings guarded the majestic mountain gates. There is a huge bluestone sculpture of the Maitreya Bodhisattva on the right side of the mountain gate."The big belly can tolerate, settle many things in the world, full of joy, see the world's sorrows with a smile",  Smiling to welcome the good faith and great virtue visitors from all over the world. On the opposite left, there is a statue of the three wise monkeys to convey the teachings of "see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil ", which is telling us that in our daily lives, we should "not see evil things, do not listen to evil words, and do not speak evil words". It is in the hope that the masses will be able to "see everything and hear all sounds, although a wise man has seen and heard, he does not take it into his heart at all," so that they can naturally distance themselves from right and wrong and be purified.

Living Buddha Lian-sheng initiated to Master Lian Zhen and Master Lian Yang, the reason for building the temple

It is said that the process of building the Dallas Temple Kalachakra is miracle, the years drift by, and the time flies like a fleeting moment. The scene from a decade ago is still fresh in my mind. In year 2005, under the circumstances of sufficiency, I deeply felt that life is impermanent. Our children have graduated from college and can be independent. All the wealth we have are all given by our Grand Master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva. Therefore, with a grateful heart, we believe that all wealth is taken from society and should be used for the public and it is the best arrangement. Therefore, we decided to find a place or a cultivation venue where all people can have a Pure Land in the mortal realm to rest during their boring life. When they feel tired or frustrated, they can calm down without any fear. At least, they can stop and rest to distress and get a moment of freedom. And they got back on their feet again under no pressure.  No one other than my Dharma brother and I knew what we were thinking.

Master Lian Zhen of  Temple Kalachakra received the decree of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond to "Build a temple to Propagate the Dharma and benefit all sentient beings"

In 2005, at the invitation of the Dharma brothers and Dharma  sisters of Jin Ji Leizang Temple in Taichung Taiwan, we participated in their pilgrimage tour to the 88 spiritual sites of Shikoku of Japan. But when we arrived in Taiwan, Dharma Instructor Lian Lai's son was in a physical condition that he cancelled the Japanese trip.  Fortunately, his son was out of danger a week later. So Dharma Brother Liao proposed to visit " Hualian Shibi Tang" to worship the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond. As Everyone knows that the " Hualian Shibi Tang" is the Main Hall of  Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and it is Madam Qing Yi (also known as the Yin Yang Eyed Ji E Gu) cultivation venue. And Madam Qing Yi is the guide of Living Buddha Lian-sheng. So, more than 40 of us arrived at the " Hualian Shibi Tang" of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond with great joy. During the incense worship, Dharma Instructor Lian Lai chanted the name of Song Xianzheng, which is the family name of Master Lian Zhen, and asked Master Lian Zhen to kneel in front of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Shrine to receive the decree. And when Master Lian Zhen knelt down, he saw a bright decree in the void. There were six words written as "Build a temple to Propagate the Dharma and benefit all sentient beings". Then he stretched out his both hands and held the decree into his heart. When returned to the United States, I was thinking that our Grand Master was still in the retreat and It will be the most perfectly correct to ask for his instructions.

After we received the decree, we were thinking that since our Root Guru was still in the retreat, so why didn't we buy a piece of temple land first? But we knew nobody in Dallas. We didn't know what to do in such a big city. When I was thinking of a way, my best friend's son and daughter-in-law lived in Dallas, so we asked them to find an agent. And in the process of finding the land to build the temple, the most surprising thing was that when the information of the temple land came out from the fax machine, Master Lian Zhen pointed to one of the documents and said " The Golden Mother of the Jade Pond instructed that this land is the one to build the temple". I asked him skeptically if he could tell me anything special about this land? He said "The Golden Mother of the Jade Pond said this is a hilly land and there are many pine trees on the land. The most special thing is that there is a huge lake in front of the land which is nearly 30,000 hectares " . So I carefully looked at the records of the documents, I was sure that what he said was true. Even more amazed at the incredible power of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond. Thus, we have the Temple Kalachakra where a treasure trove of crystals underneath.

Master Lian Zhen and Master Lian Yang received the decree from the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and the Grand Master

The following year, in May 2006, when we went Thailand and dropped by Taiwan. On the day we reached Taiwan, before we dropped our luggage, we were glad to hear that our Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng who had been in retreat for six years, had left the retreat because of the death of Vajra Acharya Thubten Dargye. And we were told that our Grand Master was on his way to “Yaochi Jingshe” in Miaoli Toufen from the airport . We were very excited and rush to the “Yaochi Jingshe”. It was full of people inside and out when we arrived. Our hearts were stirring and we could only stand outside the door and gassho with tears. We looked excitedly at our Grand Master whom we had not seen for six years and he was just as radiant as ever! At that moment, our Grand Master 's eyes looked at us directly and said, "Why are you here? You should be in Dallas?" At that time, we were stunned. Thinking to ourselves that our Grand Master had been in retreat for six years and he couldn't remember we lived in Houston instead of Dallas. So Dharma brother Song told Grand Master that  "I'm Song Xianzheng! We are living in Houston". As the result , our Grand Master said again: "Of course I know that you are Mr and Mrs. Song Xianzheng and you are in Dallas Leizang Si" . Then we replied, " As soon as we got off the plane today, I heard that Grand Master had left the retreat and we come straight here" and Grand Master said, "Look! This is the bond of the master and disciple relationship!"

And no one could believe that we met our Grand Master again in an alley the next day. Accompanying our Grand Master, we walked and chatted in the alley. We reported to our Grand Master that we had bought a piece of land in Dallas and our Grand Master said "I said yesterday that you were in Dallas and you said that you were in Houston. I know your name is Song Xianzheng and you both husband and wife have also received Bodhisattva precepts." This really surprised Dharma brother Song as he knew Grand Master for nearly 30 years but he never mentioned his full name to Grand Master and had always only written a word "Song". What's more Grand Master has gone for retreat and they have not met for six years. And how he pointed out that we were in Dallas at first sight and even knew that we received Bodhisattva precepts. This is really admirable! This is the greatest gift and glory in our lives and we can never forget.

In July of the same year, Grand Master arrived in Houston True Buddha Temple for transmission of the Buddhadharma in Houston Texas. When Grand Master arrived in Houston Temple, Dharma brother Song assisted in picking up our Grand Master. When Grand Master saw him and said directly: "Bring the map of Dallas land to me!" . We were stunned at the moment. We presented the land information to Grand Master on the next day. And Grand Master handed us an envelope. When we opened it in front of our shrine at home, it written as " Dallas Temple Kalachakra ". It was originally to build a small retreat and meditation place, but unexpectedly it was a Leizang Temple. And it was proved The Golden Mother of the Jade Pond’s decree of " Build a temple to Propagate the Dharma and benefit all sentient beings " and actually coincided with the decree instructed by Grand Master. Suddenly It dawned on us that our Grand Master is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent and all Buddha, Bodhisattva and The Golden Mother of the Jade Pond are praise for this great move. Since then " Dallas Temple Kalachakra " received the decree of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and the Grand Master and led to the raising of the True Buddha Tantra in the Dallas. And also making us more determined to go all way out to embark on our life of “Building a temple to propagate the dharma and benefit all sentient beings”.

The Miracle of Building Process of Temple Kalachakra

At that time, we sold away our shopping center for a total of five to six million US dollars. A friend who specializes in financial management told us that it would take us at least two to three years to build the temple and do not put the money in the bank. And also told us a 100 percent profitable investment with guaranteed at least 10-20% returned profits so that we would have more money and more handy to build the temple. The Buddha and Bodhisattva would be happier. At first glance, it sounded very reasonable but we always have a feeling of uneasiness. We were thinking that money is very important to temple building but it may delay the construction of the temple because of greed for money. Wouldn't that against our initial intentions? We believed that Buddha and Bodhisattva would not care how much money we have! It's our greed and delusional attachment that playing tricks and this is a big obstacle on the path of cultivation. So we rejected the kindness of our friend.

Unexpectedly, four to five months later, there were major economic crises around the world, leading to a depression in all industries. At that time, if we had invested and all our money would be gone and there would be no Temple Kalachakra now. Fortunately, we didn't have any greed at that time, otherwise we would not be able to fulfill Grand Master and Golden Mother of the Jade Pond’s instructions and would regret it for the rest of our life! Therefore, we are even more grateful for the compassionate guidance of Grand Master ,Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, all buddhas, bodhisattvas and Dragon gods dharma protectors.

Temple Kalachakra is in a city with all Christians.  During municipal notarization, the mayor asked Master Lian Zhen why you chose to build a Buddhist temple here? Master Lian Zhen replied, "I don't know why. I can only say that it is the instructions of our Grand Master, Living Buddha Lian-sheng , Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and the Buddha Bodhisattva and we believe in the arrangement of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and their great blessings!" The mayor then asked, " So what are you going to do with it? Is it Buddhist meditation?" We replied, "Yes, It is for Buddhist purpose." Then the mayor asked the third question: "You believe in the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas so much,  Aren’t  you afraid of being deceived? There are no Chinese in this village, do you still believe that?"

So we said to all the people at the hearing, "We believe in the Buddha and the Bodhisattva, just like you believe in the existence of the Holy Lord Jesus. This Buddha and the Lord are religious idols in our inner world. The most important thing of religious belief is to guide all sentient beings and make them happy physically and mentally, to retain a compassionate and kind heart. Besides, our motivation is only to build a temple to let the suffering and tired sentient beings to relax, to meditate in peace, to let go of the suffering, sorrow so that their inner world can get a free and cool relief. This is the real purpose of building a temple!" After these three questions, the mayor said on the spot: "I believe this young couple. I agree and I vote for them". And that’s it, the notary meeting was successfully concluded. Temple Kalachakra building proposal was approved by a majority of the vote.

Groundbreaking of Temple Kalachakra on October 4 2007

Master Lian Zhen invited Master Lian Yuan and Master Lian Lai to hold a joint Groundbreaking ceremony of Temple Kalachakra .

Originally, there were only a few True Buddha School disciples scattered in various regions in Dallas and also there was no Cultivation Association. In the early years, Master Lian Yuan often came to teach the fellow disciples and encouraged everyone to attend the cultivation and ceremonies at Houston True Buddha Temple. In March 2007, Master Lian Zhen and his family moved to Dallas and invited local disciples for group cultivation at his house, teaching them to practice mantras and praying for repentance and helping them to clear their doubts at the same time. And they actively carry out the temple construction project. At first, Master Lian Zhen asked his son who graduated from Harvard University, to design the temple building. As the blessings of the Buddha and Bodhisattva , Master Lian Zhen was able to see the shrine temple but it was slightly different from his son's design. So he asked a local architect to cooperate with a Taiwanese architect. After several modifications, on this treasure land with a strong spiritual aura and a beautiful scenery, a true Buddha venue was erected.

With the decree of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Grand Master and the temple building permit, it can be said that everything is ready. So we were more active in preparing for all temple construction matters. The first to join the temple building team in Dallas were the couple of Chen Zhixiong and Lin Yujiao and Cai Zhentian who have just taken refuge. And the couple of Liang Guangtai and Fang Meilian who have taken refuge for many years. At that time, Chen Zhixiong and his wife sold away their restaurant that had been unsold for several years. Under the blessing of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, a buyer bought the restaurant without even looking at it. And the most amazing thing was Dharma sister Lin Yujiao and her husband participated in cultivations every Sunday and devoted themselves in helping temple works and had never been absent. They are indeed rare Bodhisattva with aspiration! And till date, all Ritual books for cultivation, dharma ceremonies and Repentance of Temple Kalachakra, were all word-by-word typeset by Dharma brother Cai Zhentian and his sister. And Dharma sister Fang Meilian who had taken refuge for more than ten years said to us that the only wish during her every day incense offering was that to have a Cultivation Association in Dallas. And she also said that if without our kind intentions, it would be difficult to build a Temple where there were only five to six disciples in Dallas. And Unexpectedly, with the great blessings of our Grand master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, various Buddha Bodhisattva and Dharma Protectors ,we have Temple Kalachakra in Dallas. It is so true that If you hold on to your faith and things will go your way.

Temple Kalachakra Dharma Pillar Erected and Lake Water Gathered Again

There is a riverside where water flows in front of the temple. Not far away is a lake that has dried up for many years and even the small trees that have grown and have already dead. But since the temple construction project has been carried out for the past two years, the dried lake has gradually accumulated and turning it into a vast ocean of water. Isn't it amazing?

In 2007, during piling of the early stage of construction, a natural crystal mine was discovered underneath the site. The hard rock layer even broke the drill twice. It showed that this is a treasure land full of magnetic field and spiritual energy. With the divine power of Buddha and Bodhisattva, this land helps eliminate troubles and make peaceful and happy in both physically and mentally of all beings. In the process of construction, many of the photos taken were filled with prajna apertures and many of the induction were even more impressive.

The Gods are watching from above and There will be Retribution for doing bad things in Secret

As a start of temple building, site mobilization was at first and followed by piling of foundations. During the stage of laying the foundation, whenever the formworks were erected for cementing on the next day, it began to rain heavily like a torrent from 9 to 10 pm in the evening and the entire formworks were destroyed. Such a strange phenomenon happened twice in a row. By the third time, when the contractor was taking a break under a large tree, he dreamed of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond waving the Buddha whisk and said that the foundation of the temple should not cut corners. When he woke up, he called the workers to erect the structure with steel bars and timbers immediately. It was strange to say that this time the pouring cement process able to start from 4 am in the morning until the afternoon and smoothly completed the foundation of the main shrine hall with strong steel reinforcement. It was as smooth as an ice skating rink! Afterwards, the American worker asked "Does the Bodhisattva you believe in wearing a phoenix crown on her head and holding a white Buddha whisk in her right hand? And holding a carved blue-green Long plate jade (ruyi) in her left hand? Her face was solemn and sitting on a large chair engraved with many dragons?" We thought to ourselves that wasn't this the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva showed their presence”? This also teaches us that "The gods are watching from above. Don’t do bad things secretly and there will be retribution at any time and in any place."

 Cultivating one's mind without being chaotic and being able to maintain a strong initial moral mind is the true path of cultivation

When the temple building was almost completed, all our cash had been spent. Only the final payment of 400,000 to 500,000 dollars was left to be handed over to the main contractor and all building works would consider completed. However, the main contractor took the money and ran away. He did not finish the remaining works and did not pay the balance to the subcontractor and the workers. This caused them to demand money from the temple. It was very difficult for us at that time and I fell sick from exhaustion. I was depressed and complained about what is the point of believing in Buddhism? We used to live a happy and prosperous life but now we have exhausted our bodies and used up our money for temple building. When things go wrong, People never reflect on themselves. Instead, blaming the Buddha and Bodhisattva for not appearing and give their blessings. So there was endless anger and resentment. What was originally a little cold turned into a serious illness due to overwork.

At this time, a Dharma brother advised me and said "The temple you have built is almost completed. It is not easy for you to have this resource and motivation to build a temple in this life. You are almost there but you unable to withstand the test and retreat now. If you are discouraged and let go at this time, can you be sure you have such a good cause of merit if you can be reincarnated in the next life? ". It was a head-on blow and woke me up! Originally, I thought that it was a big deal for us to use our own funds to build the temple and should be blessed to complete the temple smoothly by the Buddha and Bodhisattva. Now that something was not going well and feeling angry and grievances. But we don't know that these were Grand Master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva showed their presence and teaching us to let go of attachment. Just a little setback and started to retreat mentality. How can such a weak seeking enlightenment mind to withstand tests during cultivation? And how can liberate from the cycle of birth and death and not to mention to undertake the great cause of Tathāgata!

In fact, building a temple in the eyes of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is only a trivial matter. They are just compassionately teaching us to generate wisdom and learn the right knowledge and righteous thoughts to let go of attachment. Therefore, we should be repentant deeply and thankful to Grand Master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva who letting us to experience deeply in our daily life that cultivating one's mind without being chaotic is the true way of cultivation. This is what cannot be bought by money! If you don't know the intentions of Grand Master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva, then you will be a practitioner in vain. With this sudden opened thought, I instantly feeling full of energy and continue happily to complete and move forward. Tomorrow will be better!

Why There are an 8,000-pound Bluestone Sculpture of Maitreya Bodhisattva and a Pair of eight-foot-four Stone-Carved Great Northern Lion Kings at  Temple Kalachakra gate?

When we accepted the decree to build the temple, we were hoping that all sentient beings can make use of this holy land to eliminate their inner sufferings and get peace of mind. And do not bound with religious thoughts as religion is just a term. There is no religion in the first place. It is because of the different nature of all sentient beings, the Buddha teaches 84,000 dharmas. And all dharmas can be liberated and all are equal with no differences. Therefore, we decided to erect a bluestone sculpture of Maitreya Bodhisattva with an eternal smile and a great tolerance on both sides of Temple Kalachakra’s gate. It means that the masses are able to be like the Maitreya Bodhisattva, "the big belly can tolerate many things in the world, full of laughter and laughing away all past and present worries of the world". On the other side are the three wise monkeys, one of the monkey is “silent” with both hands covered its mouth. The other monkey is “not looking" with hands covered its eyes and the third monkey is “not listening” with hands covered its ears. It is hoping that the public can "see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil ". So that, “although the wise man sees and hears, he does not take it into his heart at all”. And he will naturally be away from right and wrong and be purified. As for the pair of stone-carved Great Northern Lion Kings and the Eighteen Padmakumara (Lian Hua Tong Zi), we forgot to measure the sizes when we ordered. And we had to make it according to their sizes for their steel reinforced concrete bases. So we casually told the contractor how big they were. There should be no problem. As a result, unexpectedly when the crane put the 8,000-pound Maitreya Bodhisattva and the pair of 8-foot-4 Great Northern Lion Kings on their seats and they fit miraculously just right. This must be a miracle!

There were many incredible things in the process of temple building. For instance, at the center of the temple is the Main shrine hall which is 53 feet from the ground to the roof and 30 feet from the ground to the ceiling. One day, the contractor's painter who was painting on top of 30 feet, accidentally fell from the top staircase to the concrete floor. At that time, we were outside and heard a big bang. Our hearts flutter and rushed in. At that time, I can only ask for a great blessing from our Grand master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and various Buddha Bodhisattva, hold a mantra and call the ambulance. It was strange to say that when the ambulance sent the worker to the hospital for a full body examination but found that there was only a slight sprain on the heel. The rest of his body was intact and unasymptomatic. This was really the blessing of Grand master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and various Buddha Bodhisattva! Otherwise, if anyone fell from a height of 30 feet and hit the concrete floor, how can it be alright? It was a real miracle!

Three times of Buddhist Statues arrival and each showed signs of the miracle

In year 2009, the construction of the temple was completed perfectly. The magnificent stone pillars, pink and red with light brown walls and gray roof tiles constituted an antique and solemn new building. The central main building is the 50-foot-high Main shrine hall. And at the both sides are Fortune Gods Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Homa and Water Offering Hall, unborn foetus spirits Garden and the Dining Hall .There are also a library, an office, a meditation room.

The 52 Buddhist Statues ordered by Dallas Temple Kalachakra were completed gradually and arrived Texas by sea. The first batch of stone carved Buddhist Statues were shipped from Hui An China in May. And when the Buddhist Statues arrived, all required to unload within 3 hours. There were only 6 people on the scene and an old stacker with no other tools. The stacker could not reach into the 20-foot-deep container. The 18 stone carved Padmakumara (Lian Hua Tong Zi) were all in wooden frames which made of a few wooden strips and each wooden frame consisted two layers of 4 stone carved Padmakumara (Lian Hua Tong Zi). It was impossible to move boxes by boxes like normal unloading. So we could only move one by one slowly and carefully. And there was an 8,000-pound bluestone sculpture of Maitreya Bodhisattva in the innermost of the container. After racking their brains, several people pulled and pushed before removing the bluestone sculpture statue out from the container. After unloading, It was found that the bluestone sculpture of Maitreya Bodhisattva was very heavy and could not be pushed at all. And each of the 18 stone carved Padmakumara statue also required 4 people to be able to carry it. At that time, several people were amazed by these stone carved bodhisattvas and it was like walked down on their own. The 3,000-pound stacker could able to push the 8,000-pound bluestone sculpture of Maitreya Bodhisattva! At the moment they positioned the bluestone sculpture of Maitreya Bodhisattva in front of the mountain gate, dozens of eagles suddenly appeared in the air, swirling in the sky for several minutes before leaving. This is truly an incredible auspicious sign.

Before the arrival of the second batch of Buddhist Statues from Taiwan in June, it had been thunderstorms throughout the week. Everyone was worried about how to unload the Buddhist Statues. Master Lianzhen sincerely asked for the blessings of Grand Master and Golden Mother of the Jade Pond. However, at 10am in that morning, it was still very cloudy and drizzling. Master Lianzhen and Dharma Brother Jiang were preparing to receive Buddhist Statues outside the mountain gate. Suddenly thousands of bees flew over like a tornado, flying around the two of them for several minutes. They didn't know what to do but to stand still at that moment. Although the two of them stood in place without any injuries but they were shocked by the sudden situation. Just at that moment, the container truck drove slowly from the gate into the entrance of the temple. And this swarm of thousands of bees also flew straight above the Main shrine hall, circled around a few times and then flew straight into the void. If you weren't there, you would have thought it was a fantasy!

The rain stopped at the moment when the container arrived in front of the temple. So there were about six to seven people hurriedly moved the Buddhist Statues and nearly 200 boxes of scriptures and joss paper into the Main shrine hall. And It wasn't until around four or five o'clock in the afternoon that everyone had just finished cleaning the iron frame of the Buddhist Statues. And again, that night was heavy rain, wind and thunderstorm until 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning of the next day. And there was not a single drop of rain before and after the move, which made everyone deeply feel that this was a miracle manifested under the blessing of the Buddha and Bodhisattva. Later, a Dharma brother who studied ancient books said: "When the Buddha and Bodhisattva are about to arrive, there are heavenly soldiers and heavenly generals who will come to protect. And the bees represent them"

In this event, Dharma sister Lin Yuhuan asked the boss for a leave to help in moving Buddhist Statues in the temple. But the boss told her: "Now there are violent winds and torrential rains everywhere and if it continues to rain, it will even cause flooding. So you should call the temple first then asking for a leave!" So Dharma sister Lin called to the temple but to no avail. And she said to her boss that "I believe that the Buddha and Bodhisattva will show great powers and they must be busy moving the Buddhist Statues, so they didn't answer the phone." And Dharma sister Lin insisted on asking for a leave and drove to the temple. It was really flooded everywhere. But when she reached the big bridge in front of the temple, there was not even a drop of rain. It was as if God used a big mandala umbrella to cover the entire Temple Kalachakra and its surroundings. There was a torrential rain everywhere except the entire Temple Kalachakra and its surroundings. The sky above Temple Kalachakra was only full of dark clouds and this scene was from about 11 o'clock in the morning until all Buddhist Statues have been positioned. And It was already 7 or 8 o'clock in the evening when all were cleaned.

What's even more amazing was that when Master Lianzhen led everyone to offer incense and bow down, thunder erupted in the void and the torrential rain poured down until four or five o'clock in the morning of the next day. As the water level of the large lake in front of the temple was originally very low and seventeen years have passed since that day, there is no more dry and bottomless scene and it is always rippling and bright. Once again, we were thankful to Grand master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva for their compassion and manifestation. These are all real miracles! Let us experience that as long as we are sincere to the Buddha and follow the will and Grand master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, Buddha Bodhisattva and Dharma Protectors will take care of us, so that everything can be completed smoothly and without hindrance.

As the previous two batches of statues arrived with signs of miracles, we were full of excitement and anticipation to receive the third batch of Buddhist Statues in July. And about 20 to 30 dharma brothers and sisters came to help. There are 5 shrine halls with a total of 52 Buddhist Statues in Temple Kalachakra. Buddhist Statues of the main shrine hall are very tall. Some statues are taller than a person and required forklift to carry and position in the shrine hall. During the process of moving statues, the forklift driven by Dharma brother Jiang Chenglong stopped working suddenly while moving a Buddhist Statues. What could we do?

At that time, Master Lianzhen struck with an idea, in ancient times, it was honored to be welcome by the eight-person sedan. Could it be that this statues was the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond who sitting on sedan chair and wanted everyone to lift her? As such, everyone decided to do manually, like carrying a sedan chair, carry the statue into the shrine hall. When we opened the wooden box, the graceful and luxurious Golden Mother of the Jade Pond appeared before us compassion solemnly. At that moment, Master Lianzhen recalled that when he received the decree in 2005, he once boasted that: "Dear Golden Mother of the Jade Pond! We will honored you with the eight-person sedan and lift you into the main hall”. So when he turned back and counted the number of people who carried the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, it happened to be eight people. It was another ingenious incident. It really came true that the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond was lift by eight-person sedan into the main shrine hall of Temple Kalachakra.

At that moment, dharma brother Jiang Chenglong who was driving the forklift said jokingly: "If this is the case, there is no problem with the forklift. I will try to start it again". Unexpectedly, the forklift to be able to move again. All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were brought into the main shrine hall by the forklift, only the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond was lift by eight-person sedan into the main shrine hall. Therefore, it is all the more necessary to prove the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and to use various methods to test and teach sentient beings, so that our faith in spiritual practice will be more solid, especially to experience the power of the great god of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, which is beyond doubt! Therefore, it is proven that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are compassion and using various methods to test and teach all sentient beings. It makes our faith in the cultivation stronger and it is beyond doubt especially when we experienced the power of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond.

Master Lianzhen was certified as a Black Padmakumara and received Empowerment of Vajra Acharya

In September 2009, Dharma brother Song ordained as a monk by Grandmaster at the Peacock King Grand Ceremony of Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple in Seattle. And he was certified as a Black Padmakumara and received Empowerment of Vajra Acharya. He named as “Reverends Master Lianzhen” and since then, he is on the path of spreading the Dharma and benefiting all sentient beings.

Since year 2005, Temple Kalachakra received the decree of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Grandmaster and finally on November 14, 2009, we invited the grand master of True Buddha School, Living Buddha Lian-sheng for consecration and presided over Kalachakra Ceremony and Dharma Transmission empowerment. On that day, thousands of disciples of True Buddha school came from all over the world to participate in this grand event and Temple Kalachakra was lit up. These were all inspired by the great power of our grand master. The compassionate grand master Living Buddha Lian-sheng also gave calligraphies of the name of the temple " Temple Kalachakra " and "The Three Realms are all took refuge and the Wheel Turns Without a Beginning and the End", "The Three Treasuries and the Twelve Divisions”,” Turn Wheels and see the emptiness of five aggregates”. All the calligraphies hang on the entrance walls of the main shrine hall now.

The Instruction of Grand Master,Living Buddha Lian-sheng

The Temple Kalachakra is composed of a series of miraculous events. It's been 17 years and we always following the Grand master’s instructions and never forget! All the disciples hope to hear the history of the temple building and we will try our best to recall and tell everyone. Please excuse us If there is anything missing!

When Temple Kalachakra just opened, the Chinese newspaper in Dallas were reluctant to publish dharma affairs activities for us. It was because they did not understand True Buddha School. There were four times of Ceremonies a year have to be published but due to the high cost of publish fees, It could not be propagated to the public. At that time, the temple had just opened and could not afford it. But even so, there were still pilgrims who came endlessly to worship. We would ask them how they knew about Temple Kalachakra and they told us that they were introduced by friends. And there were 30% of the pilgrims who had dreamed of Buddha Bodhisattva of Temple Kalachakra and instructed them to come. And Another 40% of the pilgrims came because Master Lianzhen who help them solved some of their life problems during divination reading and geomancy sessions. In total, Temple Kalachakra was not what it was today by the strength of one person but by the power of everyone to vow and action Bodhicitta together. Having said that, we are very grateful to Venerable Grand master, Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and Buddha Bodhisattva for giving us the opportunity and teaching us how to donate our tangible property which is like a poisonous snake and do Bodhi deeds that benefit all sentient beings. So by letting go like this can exchange for today's free life.

Otherwise, we would still busy in society all our lives. It's like a cow being tied up by five ropes of greed, hatred, delusion, doubt and arrogance. And will be died of exhaustion for the sake of wealth, sex, fame, food , laziness ,fame and profit. And not even know where to go after death? However, in daily life of the temple, we connect with all sentient beings every day. As there are thousands of kinds of troubles for all sentient beings, we have to face all kinds of problems they have. Then we use the wisdom of right knowledge and mindfulness to guide and transform them, help them to be free from suffering , be happy and to enlighten their good intentions and good thoughts to develop Bodhichitta. As a result, we have a deeper view of life and a deeper level of generative wisdom to see through life. This is what all sentient beings share with us with their most precious life experiences. Therefore, we would like to thank all disciples. Because of their demonstrations and encourage supports, we have the opportunities to practice and to hone our own minds personally. And making ourselves more Loving kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity and integrate ourselves into the heart of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, so as to receive the light instillation of the cosmic Dharma flow. These are all blessings and kindnesses given by all sentient beings and we are grateful to all of them!

After the opening of Temple Kalachakra and when Grand Master was about to leave, he specially urged us to cultivate and propagate the Dharma and benefit all sentient beings. And let Temple Kalachakra always remain as a pure cultivation Venue and focus on education especially. Therefore, Temple Kalachakra regularly holds various activities such as True Buddha Tantra Cultivation, Homa/Water Offering Ceremony, Divination Reading, Life Counseling (please call to make an appointment), Tantric Zen meditation Talks, Worship to the Earth God, all kinds of prayers for the safety of the believers and smooth progress of their careers. And from time to time, Temple Kalachakra will hold "Calamity Eradication, Blessing, Respect, Love and Bardo Deliverance grand Ceremonies" and "Health and Wellness Tantra Buddhist Camps" with combination of Tantra, Meditation, Breathing Meditation on the Drops, Medical Wellness , Short-term retreat and Intensive practice. We also welcome all believers and great sages to come here to worship the Buddha, practice together, bathe in the light of the Buddha and rejoice in Dharma!
