VAJRA MASTER SHI LIAN ZHEN, A DEVOTED FOLLOWER IN THE FOOTSTEP OF H.H LIVING BUDDHA LIAN SHENG. (GRANDMASTER)
San Lun Lei Zang temple (also known as Kalachakra Buddhist Association Temple), majestic and spectacularly constructed, has become a new landmark in the northeast corner of Dallas, Texas (the eighth largest city of the United States). The temple covers an area of at least 30 acres with nearly 4 acres of land used for the construction. Uniquely, the constructed temple was built exactly on a spot known as the carp cave spot. In the context of Chinese Feng Shui, this spot is a unique treasure spot known for its ever- present of clear, vast and blissful positive aura energy naturally generated from the land formation. With this unique spot, the entire temple natural aura energy has mystically enhanced and thus also considered as fengshui treasure temple where all dharma practitioners dream of conducting their practice with great success in attainment. Most importantly, it became one of the sacred True Buddha Sect temples in the southern USA that spreads Buddhist Tantrayana teachings. At the point of writing this article, all the structures of the temple have been fully constructed and all the golden statues of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas from all around the world have also arrived and being placed nicely inside the temple. The last step for the temple to be official launch to turn the great dharma wheel is the arrival of True Buddha Sect Root Guru Lineage Grandmaster H.H Living Buddha Lian Sheng to bless and consecrate the temple.
On this special day of September 9, 2009, the main founder of the Kalachakra Buddha Association Temple, Dharma brother Song Xian Zheng, further dedicated himself to become a monk and was consecrated and anointed as a Vajra Master with the Dharma title: Vajra Master Shi Lian Zhen upon the Sacred Vajra Acharya initiation by H.H Living Buddha Lian Sheng at the “True Buddha Tantric Quarter “in Seattle. H.H Living Buddha Lian Sheng has also verified him as the return of the Black (Lotus Prince) Padmakumara. Root Guru H.H Living Buddha Lian Sheng further praised him for his devotion and explained on the given Vajra Master dharma title name: Lian (translated as: Lotus) Zhen (translated as: Calm and stable) that signifies one who is able to settle down gracefully and commands in all directions. He said: “Vajra Master Shi Lian Zhen is truly a dedicated spiritual cultivator and a Chinese physician who always uphold his duty compassionately with his whole heart to help and salvage all sentient beings from their sufferings. As being a compassionate cultivator, he has further decided to build a Buddhist temple in Dallas using all his personal financial strength without any fund-raising campaigns for the entire temple construction and uses his own land too. I have named the temple as: San Lun Lei Zang Temple (direct translated as Three Wheels Lei Zang temple), whereby the three wheels do not refer to the three wheels of a tricycle instead it is actually referring to the Three Dharma Wheels in Buddhism. Vajra Master Shi Lian Zhen will also become a great meritorious master in the future.”
THE EPITHET OF VAJRA MASTER SHI LIAN ZHEN: BLACK LOTUS PADMAKUMARA
Vajra Master Shi Lian Zhen has a deep fate with the True Buddha Sect for a long time. He was born and grew up in Taiwan. In 1979, he left Taiwan hometown to USA, Arizona State for further study as doctoral student in the department of Electrical Engineering and worked in Houston, Texas upon graduation. In 1983, he came across a book titled as “The Legend of Conquering Devils and Demons” written by Grandmaster Lu and he was in awe after reading it for the first time. He was so intrigued by the content that he and his spouse (Cai Qui Xiang) flew over to Seattle straight to meet with the author, Grandmaster Lu. In 1984 and 1985, they moved to Seattle and stayed there so as to be close to Grandmaster Lu and learnt Buddhism from him. After that period of stay in Seattle, they shifted to Tennessee to start restaurant businesses and it lasted till the year in 1995 when they decided to shift back to Houston and finally settled down. By that time, they had accumulated certain amount of wealth and decided to make a switch to real estate rental business and shopping malls. Upon reflecting on his life journey, Master Lian Zhen still felt that his life was yet to be fully accomplished despite having a stable career and certain amount of wealth. He tried to find further accomplishment in life by resolutely returned to school and studied hard at Hua Mei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Houston as he observed that the most painful thing in life was actually illness. He was further motivated due to his father who was well versed in traditional Chinese medicine. After four years of study, he obtained a Chinese medicine license and started operating a clinic around year 2000 to practice medicine to help the world.
What happened next in his life was unpredictable and unthinkable. In the year 2005, after resigning as the chairman of the “Mi Yi Lei Zang Temple”, Master Lian Zhen often traveled between the United States and Taiwan. There was an occasion whereby the in charge of “Jing Ji Lei Zang Temple” (another temple of the True Buddha Sect) in Taiwan with the dharma title as Dharma Lecturer Lian Lai led him and several dharma members to pay a special visit to a Golden-Mother Shrine Chapter (Stonewall Chapter) in Hua lien. During the visit, he unexpectedly received an invisible edict from the Jade Pond Golden Mother to build a temple to propagate the Dharma teachings and benefit all sentient beings. That moment onwards, he seemed to have a vague idea of the path he should take for the rest of his life. After returning to the United States, by chance, he bought a large piece of land in Dallas, a five-hour drive from Houston. He thought to himself: If he could build a small monastery here, in addition to aid in his own spiritual practice, it should be very meaningful for him to follow the fate to propagate the Dharma teachings and benefit all sentient beings.
In Master Lian Zhen’s life, the most unforgettable moment happened back in year 2006 when he flew back to Taiwan from USA for a visit. When his flight had just landed at Taoyuan International Airport, a fellow dharma member mention to him that Root Guru Grandmaster Lu, who was still in seclusion, would be giving a dharma speech at the “Jade Pond Spiritual Dormitory” in Miaoli. Without a second thought, he rushed to the venue immediately as this would be the first time for him to see his root Guru in Taiwan after his retreat. What happened next shocked him when he was at the venue and sharp-eyed Grandmaster Lu pointed at him and asked, "Hey, how come you are here?" He replied: "Master, I have just rushed over from the airport once I heard that you are here." Grandmaster immediately said, "Look, this depicts the deep bond and fate between master and disciple." Then Grandmaster asked: "Then where are you settled down now?" He replied: " Reporting back to Grandmaster, I have settled down in Houston.” Grandmaster continued: "Aren't you in Dallas?" He repeated the same answer: "Grandmaster, I am staying in Houston.” Yet Grandmaster insisted back: "You are in Dallas." At this time, Vajra Master Shi Lian Ning, who was standing besides, kindly reminded Grandmaster: "Master, he is the recently retired chairman of the Mi Yi Lei Zang Temple.” This time round, Master Lian Zhen replied to Grandmaster in Taiwanese: “Grandmaster, I am the one with surname Song.". Grandmaster replied back: "How could I not know that you are the one with the surname of Song".
The following day, a same meet between him and his root guru master occurred on a different setting and venue. This time, Grandmaster was not only certain that Master Lian Zhen was in Dallas, but he also directly called him out by his name “Song Xian Zheng”. Furthermore, Grandmaster mentioned to him that he had already knew that Master Lian Zhen and his spouse both had actually took upon the Bodhisattva precepts a year ago. All these happenings deeply surprised Master Lian Zhen and instantly felt that his own master was indeed really powerful and even further in awe of him.
In year 2006, soon after Grandmaster Lu officially left seclusion, on the 29th of July, he traveled to United State and made his second visit to “Mi Yi Lei Zang Temple” in Houston to personally propagate the Dharma teachings of Kalachakra Yidam. During that visit, Master Lian Zhen had personally delivered the blueprints of his own land in Dallas to Grandmaster. Upon looking at the blueprints, that was the exact moment whereby Grandmaster immediately gave him the calligraphy treasure blessing with a sacred naming of the temple as “Dallas, San Lun Lei Zang Temple”. From then on, there were countless heavy responsibilities fell onto his shoulders while trying even harder to meet the high expectation from Grandmaster Lu Living Buddha Lian Sheng. Because at that moment, there was scarce number of Dharma members in Dallas and the situation was even more challenging as there was not a single Buddhist association, monastery and temple ever been built in Dallas. Yet, Grandmaster specially blessed and instructed him to build a Lei Zang Temple instead of a simple monastery. After careful and detailed discussion with his spouse, in March 2007, both of them decided to moved their entire family from Houston to Dallas in view of the preparation for the construction of the Lei Zang Temple.
Although they had moved to Dallas, the entire logistics and human resources networks that they had and could be of use, were all left in Houston. Therefore, everything had to start from scratch and the most urgent resource needed to build a temple was a huge amount of fund. All along, Master Lian Zhen and his spouse had always kept a low profile within the True Buddha Sect and knowing that there were also other temples of the True Buddha Sect in great need of donations coupled with the fact that there were also many regulations and restrictions from the True Buddha Sect committee on fund raising, they decided to self-fund for the entire temple construction. The fund came about by selling away two owned shopping malls and that was their first self-funded amount for the temple construction. They clearly knew in case the available fund depleted or the fund became insufficient for total cost for the construction, they would have to further find ways to raise the fund. With this in mind, they became motivated and more courageous and gained a lot of knowledge and experiences through their hard work, despite encountering many difficulties, including problems with construction technology.
Master Lian Zhen gratefully said: “I am in total gratitude towards Grandmaster and Jade Pond Golden Mother for their endless constant blessings”. Ever since the official commencement of the temple construction in October 2007, in less than two years of constructing, majority halls of the Kalachakra Buddhist Temple had been fully constructed such as the majestic Main Hall, the Fire and water puja offering Hall, the Wealth Hall, the Ksitigarbha Hall, the Water Spirit Garden, the Usnisa Vijaya Pagoda, the Zen room, office, kitchen and the library. At this moment, the construction for the Dragon King Hall was also almost completed.
During the construction of the temple, every Sunday, Master Lian Zhen would gather some like-minded devoted dharma members and conducted dharma practice together. As the temple construction approaching to end of completion, the temple had also gradually attracted the local Americans or other ethnic groups to pay a visit. At that moment, there were more than thirty fellow Dharma members. With regards to the future development of Kalachakra Buddhist Temple, Master Lian Zhen, who has rich experiences in Dharma logistics, believes that the most important direction is to adhere to the three main dharma principles of respecting the Gurus, valued the Dharma, and diligently practice the Dharma. He also pointed out: "If any temple wants to develop, the main temple committee members must be harmonious towards each other and solemnly observe the precepts. In this way, naturally, one will be able to treat all other sentient beings with equality. As long as the unity among the temple committee members stay strong and peaceful, all other sentient beings and people will be willing to get close to the temple. In particular, the person in charge of the temple must have huge compassionate belief, be able to judge things with better wisdom, adhere to principles, be more considerate of others and have more clearer communications and interactions with all sentient beings.”
In order to be a better disciple of Grandmaster Living Buddha Lian Sheng, Master Lian Zhen believes that respecting the Guru, respecting and value the precious Dharma, and practicing the dharma diligently are the most important aspects. He said: My Root Guru Master is perfect in his conduct, work, cultivation and management. So, this will surely be the most appropriate and correct path for us to follow his footsteps and we will do whatever our master instructs. His spouse, Dharma Sister Cai Qiu Xiang, didn't know much about Tantric Dharma practice at first and she only followed her husband's daily diligent practicing the Dharma until she finally got a real sensation and truly felt the strong positive energy emitting from the Tantric Dharma essence. Now, whenever she meets people, she will give praises: "The True Buddha Tantric Dharma is so great! People living in this world must have faith in religion and that will make a purpose in their life. There are many types of religions and I have chosen the True Buddha Sect, and I will still choose the True Buddha Sect again in my next life. This is due to its practicality whereby if one really practices the Tantric Dharma diligently, both the body and mind will become at ease and that makes me want to continue practicing the True Buddha's Tantric Dharma eternity."
In the middle of this year, as the entire construction of the “San Lun Lei Zang Temple” was close to completion, Master Lian Zhen believed that the right time and fate has come for him and decided to ordain and become a monk. He said: “Grandmaster has given me the blessing to rebuild my family and I am very grateful and thankful for the invisible blessing and protection from the Jade Pond Golden Mother such that I am willing to use my entire life and body as well as my entire savings to contribute and repay their kindness.” My Dharma spouse Cai Qui Xiang continued and movingly said: “My entire family has never left the True Buddha Sect ever since taking refuge and we truly regard it as our own family. Many unpleasant things had happened when I was young and fortunately Grandmaster has given blessing and help me to overcome all and now it seems to be the right time to repay the kindness. Most importantly, we are grateful for this golden opportunity given by Grandmaster, Golden Mother and all the Buddha and Bodhisattvas.” Indeed, with the pillar support given by my Dharma spouse, and the fact that my only son has graduated from Harvard University and is successfully working in society, Master Lian Zhen can be at ease and fully focus on his cultivation journey.
The kind-hearted and humble Master Lian Zhen laughed and commented: “I am already 58 years old, truly of a certain age, but my heart and soul yet to feel old and only now then I truly understand how to contribute to help all sentient beings!” That’s great! Master Lian Zhen! Let us all come together and give the blessings to the newly anointed Vajra Master who values the importance of diligent practicing the Dharma and follows closely without any regrets in the footstep of Living Buddha Lian Sheng.
VAJRA MASTER SHI LIAN YANG WITNESSED H.H LIVING BUDDHA LIAN SHENG TRANSFORMATION BEYOND BODY.
Although, with all the golden statues of Root Guru, Golden Mother, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas being placed nicely in position and made the entire main hall looked divinely magnificent, the temple was still not ready as deep in our heart, we preferred to wait for the arrival of Root Guru Grandmaster Lu to consecrate the temple as well as all the golden statues before officially open for practice. Just happened so that one fine day in the early morning around 4 to 5 a.m. suddenly Master Lian Yang had dreamt of Root Guru Grandmaster Lu appeared at the temple main gate and walk leisurely into the temple. At that moment, her sub-conscious logical mind was crystal clear and dared not believe the sighting was real. Therefore, she closed back her eyes and reopened again yet shockingly saw it was really indeed Grandmaster Lu and he had pushed open the gate and entered into the temple and she asked Grandmaster Lu how did he came here. Grandmaster Lu replied: “I came here by a thought of missing you. It is about time to start practicing Dharma after Father’s Day.” At that instance, she was anxiously trying to get up and greet Master Buddha, but she just could not move her hands, feet and whole body, so she could only watch Grandmaster Lu proceeded and left gracefully up in the thin air. She thought to herself: “Wasn’t that form from Grandmaster Lu’s transformation whom came personally to deliver the prophecy?” She was feeling grateful especially that Grandmaster has been thinking and continuously teaching his disciples at all times. Such kindness emanated from our Grandmaster is way more than millions of times that we can even repay in this lifetime!
VAJRA MASTER SHI LIAN YANG: GRATITUDE TOWARDS H.H LIVING BUDDHA LIAN SHEN FOR USING THE CAUSE OF BUILDING TEMPLE TO MAKE HER EXPERIENCE AND UNDERSTAND THE JOURNEY OF ACTUAL SELF REALIZATION
When the temple was first consecrated, there was a Dharma couple once told us: “Dharma brother and sister, how cruel your Grandmaster is! He has been helping both of you by publicizing everywhere that your temple was built by yourself and fully funded by your own without any help and donations. This resulted in the current living condition of both of you being poor and have to endure hardship, moreover who will even want to come to help and sponsor? Think about how cruel your master is?” After hearing it, I could only smile and replied: “This is the cause and condition created by Grandmaster for us to experience and overcome it and he has painstakingly spurred us on in our cultivation journey towards actual self-realization! We can only be grateful and even more grateful towards him. Those who really knows the real meaning behind it will understand, those who don’t know will not be able to decipher!”. As I remembered clearly once Grandmaster has given a dharma speech before that when a practitioner reached to a point of no way out such as walking at the cliff edge, one has to make a decisive move as to jump forward or go back. We decided to move forward with the risk towards death and be re-born once more in grace. This is indeed the greatest encouragement and opportunity that Grandmaster has given to us in our cultivation journey.
Grandmaster Lu is omniscient and omnipotent such that he has been constantly guiding and teaching us that as long as one has the ability to lift matters up and also let it down easily, he or she will then be able to pass the ultimate test. If one is yet to be forced till the last moment, how can he or she be able to clearly understand and see your actual self? We are very ordinary human beings and Grandmaster has actually used this unique affinity and fate from constructing a temple to let us fully experience and understand how to give up all of your hard-earned money to build a temple and to benefit all sentient beings. This is the greatest purpose that Grandmaster is teaching us to learn the wisdom of the ultimate offering in practical. How can we not be grateful towards Grandmaster for such realization and reconstruction of grace?
Moreover, after Grandmaster Lu has consecrated the fully constructed temple, there was merely a few hundred dollars left in the bank account which was not enough to make payment for the temple’s utility bills in following month. In my entire life, this was the indeed the first time ever which I have to face such a hardship situation and living in poor life state not knowing how to make ends meet especially the fear of inability to pay for the utility bills. Feeling extremely nervous about the situation, a miracle happened in a night when I suddenly received an anonymous phone call from a Dharma sister whom we do not know of and was currently living out of state. The Dharma sister mentioned that prior to the passing of her mother, her mother had instructed clearly to sponsor three thousand dollars specifically to this temple. So, I asked her whether did she or her mother has ever been to the temple before and she replied to me that both her mother and herself have never visit the temple before but due to her last dying wish that I want to fulfill on behalf of her and dedicate merits for her. The most unbelievable thing from this encounter is that the utility bill of the Kalachakra temple for that particular month was USD 2693. This was indeed the coincidence happening at the right time and it made me realized that as long as one cultivates sincerely with the only intention to purely serve all sentient beings, you will always have guardians supporting you even if you are alone and fully entrust yourself to our Root Guru, Jade Pond Golden mother, Buddhas and all bodhisattvas that they will never let you be trapped in all sufferings. At the same time, I have even learnt more that whenever sentient beings are suffering in pain, we should offer immediate assistance to them in time or even earlier so they can even avoid facing any impending sufferings.
Master Lian Yang believes: “Every step in her entire life journey since beginning has been blessed by Root Guru, Jade Pond Golden Mother, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heavenly beings.” She often joked: “All the profits made in the real estate businesses by their eventual decision to sell off all assets and use all of them in building the temple. Perhaps the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas think that the both of them were those of simple mind and extremely obedient child of the Buddha, so they show us the money first and lend us the money eventually returning them the money via constructing of temple for them and even more.” She added: “Actually, I am really grateful. Think about it today, if we are still grabbing the money tightly in our hand, we will probably not able to gain the wisdom and the meaning of life. Instead, we will be further bounded by more troubles and worries and this could easily lead us to commit negative karma unknowingly. Now that we have used up all our finances solely to build the temple and all the works in salvaging sentient beings, this made us felt really great and meaningful. Not only that we got to know more fellow disciples and have form good relationships, we can also get a protected space to practice the Dharma freely with even more diligent so as to benefit others and ourselves. Reflecting deeply on this matter, it made us realized that actually this is how entire samsara works. Because of us having a fully belief and trust in the guidance from Root Guru and Jade Pond Golden Mother it led us to where we are. This kindness is truly unforgettable and in order to repay and show our gratitude to them, and this led us to our full devotion in cultivation, practice and propagating the Dharma to save all sentient beings from all sufferings.
THE COMPLIMENTARY SUPPORT OF MASTER SHI LIAN ZHEN AND MASTER SHI LIAN YANG LEADING TO SUCCESS IN CULTIVATION.
KALACHAKRA TEMPLE- REMARKABLE ACHEIVEMENT OVER SEVEN YEARS
[Article written by: True Buddha Reporter/Xiao xiao] San Lun Lei Zang Temple (Also known as Kalachakra Buddhist Temple), one of the True Buddha School Temples in the United States, beautifully constructed which covers an area of more than 32 acres (with a construction area of nearly four acres) and magnificently situated in the town of Farmersville in Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. The temple’s main hall is brilliantly built with spectacular stone pillars, pink walls and gray roof tiles. In addition to the main hall building, there are two more separate adjacent buildings constructed known as a wealth shrine (the left hall) and a Ksitigarbha shrine (the right hall). Also, at the back of the main hall there is a lotus structured hall built for the water spirits shrine and a magnificent hall meant for the conduct of fire/water offering. The entire temple looks extraordinary elegant which embodies well of an antique mystical feeling. With regards to the temple daily operations, they were solely handled by both Master Lian Zhen and Master Lian Yang who were a husband and wife of one another before they ordained and became a partner supporting each other fully in their cultivation journey. Furthermore, Master Lian Zhen had been verified by H.H Living Buddha Lian Sheng as the return of the Black (Lotus Prince) Padmakumara and ever since often been seen traveling around the U.S.A and overseas countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia to spread Dharma teachings. Therefore, responsibility on all the temple internal operations fell onto Master Lian Yang. Master Lian Zhen praised her: “The success of the temple operations required the mastery of getting the right time, right place and harmony are absolutely necessary and Master Lian Yang did an excellent job in the term of harmony as she had mastered the skills especially on creating harmonious relationships with all people.” Indeed, reflecting back to November 2009 when the temple was officially launched and in operation, the number of local people who sought refuge was less than 20 but now it had grown to as many as 600 to 700 faithful followers. Usually, every Sunday group meditation practice will have around 30 to 40 people attending and, in every year, there are more than hundred followers attending the quarterly Dharma ceremonies in the temple. Especially during the Chinese Lunar New Year, there were be two to three hundred people gather in the temple beaming with joy while celebrating the special event. Therefore, one cannot help but wonder the amount of hard work that the two vajra masters Lian Zhen and Lian Yang had put in and even manage well to spread True Buddha dharma especially in a big city like Dallas with oil, telecommunications, computer technology, banking and air transportation as its main economic pillars.
KEY FOCUS ON ZEN MEDITATION AND EDUCATION
Kalachakra Buddhist Temple’s main focus is education that comprises proper teaching and classes on meditation such as Vipassana meditation, unique Zen breathing techniques, fire and water offering practice classes and retreats etc. Master Lian Yang referred straight to the core focus of the temple and commented: “Dallas is considered a technology city whereby most of the people working there are highly educated with high level of intellectuals. Therefore, it is not as simple and easy for them to immediately accept Buddhism via Tantrayana teachings and seek refuge to get started. Usually, they will just visit the temple and observe it for a few months then they will decide. For sure, we will not coerce them or even try to preach them to seek refuge or convert religion immediately, because if one does not understand the sect and it’s teaching well, the taking of refuge or conversion will merely just be an act of formality and not practical thereby possibly leads to no benefits.
Master Lian Yang has previously participated the True Buddha Dharma training courses in 2011 at True Buddha Wei Der Buddhist College in Taiwan, Cao Tun. She had learnt and gained massive knowledge from it and fully understand the importance of education and the conducts of proper Buddhist Dharma class. Therefore, for those newly sought refuge or converted disciples, she would personally conduct lessons/classes for them.
Over the years, Kalachakra Buddhist Temple has successively conducted several True Buddha Sect Buddhism basic foundation courses that comprised precepts, dignity in the dharma practice as well as the basic implementation of the concepts such as respecting the guru, valued Dharma and be diligent cultivation etc. Every week there were ten classes and it took more than two months for the entire basic course. Despite the tremendous teaching effort and time spent to conduct the courses, Master Lian Yang felt such effort was indeed necessary and imperative worthwhile. Moreover, in view of Kalachakra Buddhist Temple’s strong emphasis on the practice of Zen meditation, and from time to time, the temple also conducted Tantric Meditation classes on Tantric Seven, Tantric four and Tantric Three concepts etc. Master Lian Yang believes: “If fellow disciples are just busy with their daily life and practice Dharma without the ability to meditate, how will wisdom be realized?” Without meditation, there is no way to discover a proper cultivation path with great clarity regardless of the massive amount of Dharma that Grandmaster Lu has compassionately transmitted. Without a clear self-realization and thorough experience in the dharma lineage, it will be merely a surface act. Therefore, it is imperative to follow steps by steps in self-realization and further understand the Dharma lineage and choose the right cultivation methods suit to yourself and with strong will and determination to practice the dharma diligently.
Besides that, the temple also has constructed retreat rooms specially meant for interested dharma members to conduct their retreats in the temple. Master Lian Yang will also make special arrangement to ensure the retreat a success by taking extra care in assigning volunteers to the retreats need. She added: “In the path of cultivation, every cultivator must support one another, I will help and support you and you will do so to help and support me as a result this will spur each other on to achieve higher spiritual attainment and success in reaching to the Great Maha twin ponds.”
However, there are real challenges for Kalachakra Buddhist Temple in spreading dharma to salvage all sentient beings such as language barriers and communication difficulties in guiding the locals to practice the Dharma. At this moment, there are only 20 to 30 local devotees in total. Master Lian Yang has discovered that the local Americans devotees have more preferences towards pure meditation practice perhaps because they regard meditation as one of the ways to enrich and strengthen their health. Once the topic of cultivation dharma is not on meditation, they will become less enthusiastic and it is also even challenging to use English language to explain in details on the sacred True Buddha Dharma. Master Lian Yang also noticed the same concerns arose even when the 17th H.H Karmapa preached the Dharma Buddha Teachings in the United States and he has to mixed the Buddhist principles teaching with some Christian teaching methods in order for his teachings to be eventually accepted by the local Americans. Despite knowing this challenge, Kalachakra Buddhist Temple has used a different approach to spread the True Buddha Dharma by teaching a handful followers who have Bilingual and capable of communicating in both English and Mandarin. Once this group of devotees fully understand the True Buddha Dharma, they will then be able to assist the temple and be inspired to spread the True Buddha Sacred Dharma to the local native Americans using English language although this will surely take a longer time to see the result.
